YouTube is a social platform at allows people to watch videos from creators that are posting a wide variety of videos . Some that are informational but others are meant to be entertaining. While YouTube holds many amazing features, organizations are able to use YouTube as a way of promoting their businesses in a variety of ways. Ads are incorporated in many different ways, before, during, and after the YouTube video. Businesses are able to connect with people that are watching that would be interested in the product that is trying to be sold. The way the YouTube is set up, is a great way for businesses to connect with their target market.
One of the main ways that businesses are able to get their ads posted on YouTube is by having them play before or during the videos. This allows viewers to see the brand before the video that they want to watch, I think that this is the best way for promoting an organization. There is a button that allows people to skip the ad after five seconds. This feature skips the rest of the ad, so it is very important that you get all of the important information in the beginning. Additionally, there are ads that will play throughout the videos. This is another way for business to get the brand out. Having formal ads play are very helpful for potential customers because they are able to get all of the information they need in one short video.A new way of getting your ad out is have a content creator do a paid promotion. Younger generations are responding very well to this way of promoting. Businesses are using this way of promoting more because there has been so much success. In the video, the YouTuber talks about what your business or product is and they will give a positive review of the product. Most of the time the business will give a discount code to the creator. This will encourage the viewer to go to the website and purchase the product. Businesses are able to get people to buy their product because viewers are seeing their favorite creator use the product as well. YouTube has many uses for businesses to get their name out and get people to buy the product.
YouTube advertising is definitely an important market to consider. I do think that it is important to consider how you advertise though. I haven’t seen an ad on YouTube in forever thanks to ad blockers, so I can’t comment a ton on pre-roll or mid-roll ads. Including advertisements within the video is much better in my opinion. It is especially good when the ad is seamless integrated into the video. A lot of videos have ads that seem forced, but videos that put the ad in without you even noticing it is an ad are best.
